Resident Evil Village Treasure Under The Stronghold Complete Treasure Location Guide

In Resident Evil Village, tracking down valuable relics is essential for maintaining enough funds to upgrade weapons and purchase valuable supplies from The Duke. Among the map markers players encounter during their journey through the village, the Treasure Under the Stronghold often causes confusion due to its placement. Knowing precisely when and where this item becomes available saves time and helps players avoid fruitless backtracking through dangerous environments.

Understanding the Stronghold Map Marker Confusion

Many players notice the treasure chest icon appearing near The Forbidden Woods early in their adventure. However, attempting to reach the item from surface level is impossible because there are no hidden entrances in the surrounding forest. The artifact is actually located deep underground within the stronghold complex itself.

Navigating the Stronghold and Defeating Urias

To reach the treasure, players must advance the main story until they enter the lycan-infested stronghold. Clearing the intense combat encounters inside leads down a massive spiral staircase toward the subterranean chambers. Defeating the formidable hammer-wielding boss, Urias, is a required milestone before the exit corridor opens.

Finding Guglielmo's Plate

After defeating Urias and collecting the story flask in the adjacent room, proceed down the exit stairs leading toward the boat dock. Directly to the left before reaching the water sits a table adorned with candles holding Guglielmo's Plate. This valuable antique plate serves as the official Treasure Under the Stronghold item.

Selling the Treasure for Maximum Value

Guglielmo's Plate has no puzzle utility and is intended solely to be sold to The Duke. Handing over this relic grants a substantial 25,000 Lei payout to fund end-game upgrades. Taking advantage of this reward before entering Heisenberg's Factory provides a necessary financial boost for powerful firearms.
